Tunray Femi is a Nigerian film writer who has built a notable career in the film and television industry. Her work, known for its evocative storytelling and interrogation of complex emotional themes, has earned critical acclaim for its depth, sensitivity, and emotional restraint.
For Maria Ebun Pataki (2020), Femi gained significant recognition for co-writing the heartfelt story, which explores postpartum depression and received widespread critical and audience acclaim.
She is one of the writers on The Anomalous (2026), an upcoming Nigerian limited series set in Lagos.
Her other screen credits include the feature film Kada River and the Ghanaian television series Eden.
In 2018, Femi was highly commended in the BBC International Radio Playwriting Competition for her play A Day in October.
She is currently in development on two forthcoming film projects, both set for release in 2026.
